Abstract
► Hierarchical precursor microspheres were composed of stacked nanoparticles. ► NiO microspheres are also composed of nanoparticles with the size from 20 to 60 nm. ► The reversible capacity of NiO are good and specific capacitance is about 208.4 F/g.
