Abstract
⺠Monodisperse, silver decorated latex particles (55 nm and 560 nm) were prepared. ⺠Thin layers were prepared with Ag0/PS particles and LDH by LbL deposition. ⺠PS spheres of 560 nm diameter resulted in rougher films than for 55 nm particles. ⺠The LDH|Ag0/PS560 films are mainly composed of LDH lamellae and free silver NPs. ⺠The film thicknesses are in the 200-950 nm range determined by optical method.
