Abstract
⺠We show the use of conventional and non conventional additives for soil treatments. ⺠We reduced its swelling capacity and improved its mechanical capacities. ⺠The higher swelling reductions were obtained when lime and MgO were combined. ⺠Lime-RHFA and MgO-RHFA combinations obtained the best mechanical properties.
