Abstract
This paper presents an exact analytical solution for the boundary layer flow of a viscous fluid over an impermeable sheet of variable thickness. The flow is induced due to a power-law shrinking of the form (x+b)â1/3. Some interesting features are witnessed that are in contrast to those for shrinking of a flat sheet.
