Abstract
A new expression for the Gramian of a row-wise Vandermonde matrix is devised, when the values defining the matrix are real and symmetric. The extension to complex values, symmetric with respect to the origin of the complex plane, is also derived. Both these formulations may be useful in symbolic or parallel computation.
