Abstract
Within the framework of utilizing in situ lunar resources for the in-space fabrication of solar cells directly on the lunar surface, we report on the results of the fabrication of substrates from the lunar regolith and the first silicon and cadmium sulfide/cadmium telluride thin film photovoltaic diodes deposited on these lunar regolith substrates.
