Abstract
▸ R125-based zeotropic mixture transcritical cycles were considered. ▸ The working fluid's heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics were considered. ▸ Multivariate optimization was performed for a fair comparison. ▸ Mixture transcritical cycle increases the power output by 11%. ▸ Condensing process improvement by zeotropic mixture was found insignificant.
