Abstract
▸ Heat pumps in households can contribute to the integration of wind power. ▸ Model development is made focussing on system effects of heat pumps and storages. ▸ Promising wind integration potentials are identified for passive heat storage. ▸ Heat accumulation tanks have low cost-effectiveness in comparison. ▸ Fuel reductions of storages are moderate compared to the effect of heat pumps alone.
