Abstract
⸠7 demographic variables linked to 8 barriers to adopting energy efficiency measures. ⸠A modified chi-square test for association was used (first order Rao-Scott corrected). ⸠Results revealed strong associations between most of the demographics and barriers. ⸠Data was collected from 198 interviews in the UK cities of Manchester and Cardiff. ⸠Specific recommendations are presented for regional policy makers and industry.
