Abstract
⸠FGD gypsum is a promising material for CO2 sequestration by mineral carbonation. ⸠The carbonation rate is about 95% at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. ⸠High-purity calcium carbonate (above 90%) can be obtained within 10 min ⸠Coal-fired flue gas can be directly used in the gypsum carbonation process.
