Abstract
▸ We use hydrogen injector controlled by ECU and cooled EGR system in a diesel engine. ▸ Optimal factors by Taguchi method are determined for low BSFC, NOX and smoke. ▸ The COV of IMEP is lower than 10% so it will not cause the unstable combustion. ▸ We improve A/F ratio, in-cylinder pressure, and heat-release at optimized engine. ▸ Decrease is 14.5% for BSFC, 60.5% for NOX, and 42.28% for smoke at optimized engine.
