Abstract
▸ According to the authors' knowledge, no previous study of wet steam flow was conducted in thermo-compressors. ▸ This approach is capable of modeling the internal phenomena in the two-phase steam flow. ▸ The margin of shock wave position in the throat is too extended in the case of the wet steam flow. ▸ Results reveal a higher compression ratio for thermo-compressors in the wet steam modeling. ▸ The entrainment ratio shows a substantial increasing in the case of wet steam simulation.
