Abstract
⺠Design principles were investigated for lithium niobate 1-3 piezocomposites. ⺠kt of the piezocomposite material was 0.2 down to a volume fraction of 30%. ⺠Experiments agreed with 3-D finite element modelling for pillar aspect ratio 6. ⺠A well-behaved lithium niobate piezocomposite requires pillar aspect ratio of 6.
