Abstract
⺠Sonodynamic therapy (SDT) is a new treatment strategy for malignant glioma. ⺠Glioma stem-like cells overexpressing the ABCG2 transporter were generated. ⺠ABCG2 decreased the antitumor effect of SDT by sonosensitizer efflux. ⺠Sonosensitizer extrusion by ABCG2 was inhibited by fumitremorgin C. ⺠Fumitremorgin C improved the antitumor efficacy of SDT in glioma stem-like cells.
