Abstract
Outlines of the observing modes of scientific instruments on board the Solar-B mission and the scheme of its scientific operation will be discussed. The Japanese Solar-B mission, accommodating three major scientific instruments on board; the solar optical telescope (SOT), the X-ray telescope (XRT), and the EUV imaging spectrometer (EIS), is being developed under an extensive international collaborations, and will be launched in 2006. Scientific operation of the Solar-B mission will be organized by a capable mission data processor (MDP) on board, and sophisticated coordinated observations will take place among these three instruments.
