Abstract
⺠The convective boundary layer (CBL) of Mars is simulated with a 1-D model. ⺠The model results compare well with the Spirit mini-TES temperature profiles. ⺠The sensible and latent heat fluxes H, LE indicate entrainment in the morning hours. ⺠The curving shape of H in the lower CBL can be obtained as a residual.
