Abstract
⺠We analyze SAR data to retrieve optical thickness of the liquid hydrocarbon layer. ⺠We use IEM model combined with wave spectra and a Bayesian inversion approach. ⺠We use a semi-empirical model based on a double-layer description. ⺠We compare these models to study the physical properties of surface liquid surfaces. ⺠We infer by extension the lake depth and volume estimation.
