Abstract
⺠Planetary magnetic fields affect the orbits of charged dust grains. ⺠Depending on launch distance and charge-to-mass ratio, dust grain orbits may be unstable. ⺠Both radial and vertical motions are studied for positively and negatively-charged dust grains. ⺠We find stability criteria for a range of launch conditions, with numerical and analytical methods.
