Abstract
⺠Pallas' surface and density imply water was important in its evolution and maybe today. ⺠If Pallas forms early, it can “differentiate” a water ice layer. ⺠Impacts and sublimation can remove a large amount of water ice from Pallas. ⺠Pallas probably formed water-rich and has lost most of its water.
