Abstract
► Deceleration of low-velocity projectiles in regoliths was studied. ► The drag coefficient was 0.9-1.5. ► A possible deceleration term proportional to the projectile velocity was found. ► A velocity-independent resistance was larger than the lithostatic pressure.
