Abstract
⺠We propose a wavelength-dependent model for the branching ratios of CH4 photolysis. ⺠Its impact on a photochemical model of Titan's atmosphere is assessed. ⺠Strongest effects are observed in the Lyman-α deprived 500-700 km layer. ⺠Data needs: branching ratios data for CH4 photolysis in the 130-140 nm range.
