Abstract
⺠Simpson's paradox on the divergence of a planetary temperature is resolved. ⺠Saturation is reached through leakage in the visible and stellar radiation blockage. ⺠The saturation temperature of a runaway Earth like planet cannot exceed 1200-1300 K. ⺠An approximate analytic formula for the temperature of a runaway planet is derived.
