Abstract
⺠Water ice was analyzed in small patches in the seasonal polar cap of Mars. ⺠The maximum modeled temperatures during local spring were 195-220 K. ⺠In this period thin liquid interfacial water might be present around mineral grains. ⺠Sublimation rates and probable are compatible with the atmospheric vapor.
