Abstract
⺠We examine spectral reflectance properties of CV carbonaceous chondrites. ⺠We analyze the spectra in terms of mineralogy, metamorphic grade, subtype, and grain size. ⺠CV spectra are dominated by absorption features near 1 and 2 μm due to olivine and spinel. ⺠Spectral variations as a function of metamorphic grade and subtype are not evident.
