Abstract
⺠Io's surface thermophysical properties are constrained by a parametric study. ⺠Best fit albedos are αF â 0.55 and αNF â 0.49. ⺠Best fit thermal inertias are ÎF â 200 J mâ2 Kâ1 sâ1/2 and ÎNF â 20 J mâ2 Kâ1 sâ1/2. ⺠Atmospheric structure of the sub-jovian side is strongly affected by jovian eclipse. ⺠Sub-jovian/anti-jovian hemisphere asymmetry is likely partially caused by eclipse.
