Abstract
► Region of the midlands of Venus (50-75°S, 60-120°E) was mapped in detail. ► The major stages in the evolution of the midlands were documented. ► At earlier stages of evolution, the long-wavelength topographic features formed. ► At later stages of evolution, volcanism dominated. ► Evidence for evolution of volcanic style at regional scale is presented.
