Abstract
⺠Developed models for simulating heat/water transport at near surface Mars. ⺠Winds and convective plumes significantly affect water flux in the regolith. ⺠Effect of wind speed and regolith thickness on water vapor flux was studied. ⺠Studied effect of solar heat flux and atmosphere temperature/pressure on water flux. ⺠Introduced interfacial Sherwood number for calculating real near surface water flux.
