Abstract
⺠Lightning chemistry predicts enhancement in tropospheric C2H2 on Saturn/Jupiter. ⺠Cassini/CIRS data studied to search for enhancements in tropospheric C2H2 on Saturn. ⺠No tropospheric C2H2 enhancements found correlating with lightning activity. ⺠Asserted that lightning cannot be dominant source for tropospheric C2H2 on Saturn.
