Abstract
⺠A Venus global geological map (1:10 M) is based on definition of 12 geological units. ⺠Global unit mapping shows the same stratigraphic sequence for the major units. ⺠Three periods (Fortunian, Guineverian, Atlian) compose the visible geologic history. ⺠About 70% of the surface of Venus was resurfaced during the Guineverian Period. ⺠The global map suggests time-dependent heat lost mechanisms from the Venus interior.
