Abstract
► The influence of phase transitions in the Martian mantle has been studied with two different sizes of the Martian core. ► The code has been modified to take into account the core cooling. ► The presence of a perovskite layer can influence the heat flux out of the core and may explain a core dynamo reactivation. ► Our results demonstrate that a core dynamo is very sensitive to the onset of the mantle convection.
