Abstract
► Using Cassini data, we observe an escape plume in the tail region of Titan consisting of high density ionospheric plasma. ► The escape plume appears quasi-steady in both space and time. ► The escape is suggested to be caused by ambipolar diffusion, magnetic moment pumping and/or dispersive Alfvén waves.
