Abstract
⺠Precipitates in the CdZnTe crystals were evaluated by Everson chemical etching method for the first time. ⺠The morphologies of the etch pits of the Te-rich and Cd-rich precipitates were investigated respectively. ⺠A new method for the measurement of the areal density of precipitates in CdZnTe crystals was provided.
