Abstract
⺠A combined LB-CA model is introduced to simulate 3D dendrite growth. ⺠The effect of undercooling and degree of anisotropy on dendrite growth is studied. ⺠The simulated growth features agree with the theoretical values. ⺠The presented LB-CA model exhibits good computational efficiency and scalability.
