Abstract
⺠Experiments on Al-Ni peritectic alloys are performed under a temperature gradient. ⺠Primary Al3Ni2 phase dissolution above peritectic temperature observed. ⺠Solute distribution in the sample near peritectic temperature. ⺠Al3Ni2 dissolution induced by solute diffusion under a temperature gradient.
