Abstract
⺠FePdPt thin films with strong perpendicular magnetic anisotropy. ⺠Strong dependence of surface roughness on Pd composition. ⺠FePt roughness strongly influenced by the disorder to order transition process. ⺠Reduced FePt film roughness by deposition above the ordering temperature.
