Abstract
⺠We investigated phase transformations in epitaxial Pd(0 0 1)/Fe(0 0 1) bilayers. ⺠The successive formation of L10-FePd and L12-FePd3 ordered phases was observed. ⺠The FePd3 epitaxial orientation relationship with substrate MgO(0 0 1) was identified. ⺠FePd3 is a magnetically soft phase with coercivity (HC<1 Oe).
