Abstract
⺠Synthesis of platelet γ-Fe2O3 particles having dimples with the particle size less than 100 nm. ⺠Estimation of specific loss power of platelet γ-Fe2O3 particles from temperature-raising properties under AC magnetic field. ⺠High exact loss power of platelet γ-Fe2O3 particles than spherical cobalt-contain iron oxide particle of equal coercive force. ⺠Larger area of minor hysteresis loop in platelet γ-Fe2O3 particles than of spherical cobalt-containing iron oxide particles.
