Abstract
► We model the quantum paraelectric EuTiO3 compound and the magnetocaloric effect was investigated. ► Inverse magnetocaloric effect and the latent heat associated to the spin reorientation transition were predicted. ► The magnetocaloric and dielectric properties in EuTiO3 were correlated.
