Abstract
⺠Spin-glass phase of the ordered Fe70Al30 Invar alloy has been investigated using Mössbauer spectroscopy technique. ⺠Main result is the observation of the pronounced temperature dependence of isomer shifts for several atomic configurations. ⺠Observed temperature dependencies due to a local volume effect. ⺠Temperature variations of the isomer shifts are strongly correlated to the Invar properties of the Fe70Al30 alloys.
