Abstract
► We simulate a ferrimagnetic nanoparticle with a spin-3/2 core and a spin-1 shell. ► We examine behavior of thermal and magnetic properties of the particle. ► Occupation of core layer by spin-3/2 creates some interesting phenomena. ► Compensation temperature decreases rapidly as shell thickness increases. ► Critical temperature increases with increasing the number of shell layers.
