Abstract
⺠The Pd-doped CdS becomes 100% spin-polarized. ⺠The long-range FM coupling is obtained. ⺠The hybridized Pd(4d)-S(3p)-Cd(4d)-S(3p)-Pd(4d) chain mechanism is found.
