Abstract
⺠We show that MnTi2O4 exhibits anomalies in resistivity, specific heat and thermal conductivity. ⺠We suggest that MnTi2O4 may experience short-ranged orbital ordering below T1. ⺠MnTi2O4 undergoes a transition from p-type to n-type semiconductor with decreasing temperature. ⺠The p-type to n-type transition is attributed to the cooperative effects of Jahn-Teller effect and spin-orbit coupling.
