Abstract
► Magnetocaloric property of La0.70(Ca0.30−xSrx)MnO3:Ag has been studied. ► Though both TIM and Tc are unchanged with Ag addition, MR is slightly improved. ► MR at 300 K is 31% with field change of 1 T, whereas it is 49% at field of 3 T. ► Maximum entropy change (ΔSMmax) is 7.6 Jk g−1 K−1 upon the field change of 5 T. ► Obtained results suggest that it can be a potential magnetic refrigerant material.
