Abstract
⺠Ultrathin NiS (thickness 0.6 nm) nanoplates grown within Na-4 mica channels. ⺠The NiS nanoplates have been grown by simple physico-chemical synthesis route. ⺠These show ferroelectric and ferromagnetic behavior at room temperature. ⺠The magnetodielectric effect is reasonably high.
