Abstract
⺠CuO nanoparticles embedded into porous glass compared to bulk. ⺠ZFC and FC magnetizations bifurcate in the nanocomposite and bulk CuO. ⺠Dc magnetization suggests a reduction of the temperature TN1 till about 190 K. ⺠Temperature TN2 of the transition into multiferroic phase did not change.
