Abstract
⺠The magnetoelastic properties of Zn substituted Co-ferrites (CoFe2âxZnxO4) reported. ⺠The coercive field decreases from â¼540 Oe (x=0) to 105 Oe (x=0.3). ⺠Saturation magnetization increases, peaks to 87 emu/g (x=0.2), and then decreases. ⺠The peak value of magnetostriction decreases with increasing Zn content. ⺠The piezomagnetic coefficient reaches a maximum value 105Ã10â9 Oeâ1 for x=0.1.
