Abstract
► The paper demonstrates the magnetic properties of a new compound of RCo5-intermetallics family. ► The paper presents a detailed investigation of the changes of the magnetic properties when Co is replaced by the non-magnetic Ge, particularly, the changes of the exchange interactions and the magnetic anisotropy. ► The paper evidences itinerant-electron magnetism behavior in YCo4Ge compound.
