Abstract
⺠We review recent advances in graphene spintronics. ⺠Gate tunable spin transport is observed at room temperature. ⺠The development of high quality tunneling contacts greatly improves spin injection efficiency into graphene. ⺠Long spin lifetimes are observed in single layer and bilayer graphene. ⺠Contrasting spin relaxation mechanisms are observed for single layer and bilayer graphene.
