Abstract
⺠Ho-manganite films are antiferromagnets with large magnetodielectric effect. ⺠The Ho-sublattice magnetization is strongly anisotropic. ⺠Depending on structural quality the films show a ferromagnetic transition at 45 K. ⺠The ferromagnetism is most probably due to hausmannite precipitates.
