Abstract
⺠Substitution of Cadmium in the manganese zinc spinel ferrite obstruct the growth of the particles and hence the resistivity is found to increase because of smaller particle size. ⺠Cd ion which prefers A site in macro dimension, prefers both A site and B site when the particle size is reduced to nano dimension. ⺠The dielectric constant and dielectric loss is found to be lower by several orders in the present investigation. ⺠Further investigation showed that curie temperature decreases with Cd substitution ( A detailed investigation is in progress and hence not presented in this article).
